Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 27, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how HALO (published by Khejan, LLC) uses cookies and similar technologies on this website (halo.fit). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

In short: we use strictly necessary cookies only. We do not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies, and we do not sell your data.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They let a site remember limited information between pages or visits — for example, to keep a session working or remember a preference. Similar technologies (such as localStorage) can serve the same purposes.

2. The cookies we use

We use only cookies and local storage that are strictly necessary to make the site function and to respect your choices:

  • Session & security: a session cookie and a CSRF token that keep the site working and protect form submissions (for example, the waitlist and support forms). These are set by our framework and expire when your session ends.
  • Cookie-consent preference: when you dismiss the cookie banner, we store a small flag in your browser’s local storage so we don’t show it again. This stays on your device and is never sent to a server.

These are exempt from consent requirements under the EU ePrivacy Directive and UK PECR because they are essential to providing a service you have requested.

3. Cookies we do not use

  • No analytics or measurement cookies (e.g. Google Analytics).
  • No advertising, retargeting, or social-media tracking cookies.
  • No third-party profiling or cross-site tracking.

If this ever changes — for example, if we introduce optional analytics — we will update this page and ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookies.

4. Third-party services

Some pages load resources from third parties that may set their own cookies when invoked — for example, our support form uses a bot-protection widget (Cloudflare Turnstile), and we load web fonts from Google Fonts. These are used only to deliver the feature in question and are not used by us for tracking. Please see the respective providers’ policies for details.

5. Managing cookies

Because we use only strictly necessary cookies, there is nothing to opt out of for the site to function. You can still clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings, and clear this site’s local storage the same way — though doing so may sign you out or re-show the cookie banner.

Most browsers let you manage cookies under Settings → Privacy.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
